Shiny Pokemon

Shinies.  They are rare, yes, but very possible.  The catch?  The chance is 1 in 8192, and it won't go down.  See, Shiny Pokemon are just normal Pokemon, only different colored.  Meaning your game isn't glitched if that Audino is purple.  I have heard of a way, however, to get Shiny Pokemon through the Pokewalker by chaining.  What you do is use the Poke Radar 40 times in a row, knocking out the Pokemon each time, and the 40th Pokemon is Shiny.  I don't know if it works or not, but try and tell me what happens.  I hope I wasn't lied to.
